I work with children ranging from 3 years of age to 21 years of age. They have a range of disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, Down's Syndrome, developmental delay, and other disabilities. I work with children in elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. I work with children who are in self contained classes and regular education classes. I have found that my children are some of the most motivated children. They enjoy learning and will make every effort they can to participate in their education, though at times their physical disabilities and cognitive disabilities limit their participation. Some of my kids are non verbal, while others use sign language, and others use augmentative communication devices to communicate. All of my children have huge hearts and are very loving. The look of excitement in each of their eyes when they are able to participate in activities is priceless.
