I teach at a small rural K-8 school with a diverse social-economic and cultural student body. The fact that we have under two hundred kids and about one grade per classroom, gives our school a family atmosphere where everyone knows each other. Though we are a small school, we provide big school enrichment programs such as: weekly art and music classes, garden and nutrition education, Physical Education and sports programs, marine science, Spanish classes, performing arts opportunities, and nature exploration field trips.
