I am a teacher in a Title l school in the Atlanta Metro area. We have a high percentage of students that are Hispanic and from many different countries. We also have many students who have had fewer opportunities and life experiences that help them build connections to what they are learning. Our students are very eager to learn and love school. Many of our students in Kindergarten are learning English and need a lot of visuals, field trips, and concrete examples to facilitate their learning and make connections to concepts. The students at our school are very appreciative and grateful for everything they receive at school.
