At my school, we take pride in the activities and learning we implement with our students. We are located in the outskirts of a big city, where about 54% of the families struggle to make ends meet. As teachers we do everything we can to encourage a love of learning. The teachers, along with the students, always go above and beyond the county expectations, even if we are short many materials. Our students are always striving to be the best that they can be. Our goal this year is to increase our students' reading and the best way to do this would be with these books, especially within my third grade classroom. These books would be a great step in the right direction of being TNREADY. It would mean the world to my students, as well as myself, if we were funded with these awesome books.
