we are a Title 1 school with over 60% of students on free and reduced lunch. The building is for 7th to 8th grades. All students participate in PE class through 5 class periods in the day. Being a Title I school funds for Physical Education are limited and we simply do not have the resources to support our programs. Our students participate and play hard in our class activities and, this is a sport that I have taught in other buildings and have a knowledge in. I believe my students in the Junior High will benefit from the opportunity to play this fast-paced team sport.
