My students are overall hard working and easily motivated. Most of the jobs in the area are hard-working, blue collar jobs. They are very hands-on learners. They respond best to the material when they can see it and touch it. The more time they get to spend in the science lab, the more interested they are in completing the less engaging materials. The school has about 500-600 students, grades 9-12th. There is one science lab for the entire school so the equipment is used often.
