The students I work with have Autism and/ or other developmental disabilities. Some of the students are non-verbal, but most of them have some language abilities. The students I work with thrive on structure and routine in their days and benefit hugely from the use of reinforcement to promote social and positive behaviors. The school where I work is a family like community where everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand.
