My school is an elementary school in a small school district. Our students are eager to learn, and the teachers strive to provide them with as many opportunities as possible. Because of our location, there are not many local multicultural opportunities of which students can readily take advantage. I would like to expose them to the art forms of a variety of cultures to broaden their horizons. Because art is universal, it's a great way to broaden my students' understanding and appreciation of cultures and practices beyond their own backyards.
