The school is currently a Title I, turnaround school, with a prominently Hispanic population, with a majority living in poverty. Since these students are living in poverty, they view school as their support system, safety net, and guidance that assists him or her further their education. All students are thankful for every opportunity the school provides them such as; being able to use technology to learn from and focus on a research topic.
