My name is Ms. Hernandez and I am a 2nd year teacher at an amazing elementary school. I am blessed to live in a small community where I am able to see my students out and about on a daily basis (they love seeing me at the store and saying hi!). The school I teach at is a Title I school that is close to my heart for many reasons. The vast majority of my students are on free/reduced lunch, receive free breakfast, and come from diverse backgrounds. My students are constantly teaching and helping me become a better educator, as I help them discover their fullest potential on a daily basis. As a teacher, I try to expose my students to a variety of academic and real-world content in the classroom. I know that Donors Choose will help my class in ways that I can only dream of!
