Demographically our school is 50% African American, 25% Hispanic and 25% Caucasian. Our school serves free breakfast to all children, mostly free and reduced price school lunch and free snack to all children. Roughly 50% of our students struggle academically. My hope is to use these science kits to help students explore, investigate and immerse them in various science stem learning concepts. These materials will be used by students during developmental purposeful play centers where they can use these hands on items to master science concepts.
