My classroom is a "home away from home" for many students. I have wonderful 1st grade students. These students are caring, intelligent, and curious individuals that come together to form an unique classroom family. Everyday is different, because of the creativeness of my students. Despite the hardships my students face in life, they enter the classroom with a huge smile everyday and cannot wait to get started with their projects. I want to be able to create a classroom that can expand their imaginations. My school has many students, but no student is just a face in the crowd. Teachers and administrators make sure to get to know every student, so they feel special. Students are the key to our school's success. I want to ensure that each student knows why they are important and how what they do in the classroom today will help decide their future.
