My students attend a special education class at a charter school in Louisiana. We are a public, French-immersion charter school with over 500 ethnically diverse students in grades K-8. Many of these students qualify for free and reduced lunch. My students are the best kids in the world- smart, driven, courteous, and incredibly appreciative. I am the first one to donate to my own projects through Donor's Choose, and it's worth it to see them express joy and gratitude for all the cool things they'll get to use as part of their learning experience in class.
