The students are extremely diverse with respect to ethnicity, age, and socioeconomic background. One thing that they all share in common is their love of music. They take great pride in school shows and concerts(Turkey Talent Show, Winter Concert, Spring Concert, Vocal Invitational). Our relatively modern building is in an inner city over-looking Manhattan. While most students qualify for free meals, their personalities are very rich and they empathize with one another. They teach each other not only about music, but about culture. It's a beautiful place to be, a building which celebrates creativity, parental involvement and diversity.
