One building, many facets: Drama Team, Pencil Pusher Writing Club, last year of elementary school for twenty-eight individuals. Many needs, one solution: an LCD projector would allow for more creativity, knowledge, and an even-stronger classroom community. I stand on the brink of teaching the same fifth grade students who also had me as their fourth grade teacher. I'm supported by nine other teachers, a principal with great leadership abilities, and classroom parents who want to be involved within their child's education. Our school thrives within standards-based creativity. I create minilessons that appeal to the various learning styles of each student while simultaneously implementing chants, cheers, manipulatives, centers, and small group instruction. There is so much modification within my classroom that it is difficult to distinguish what the "norm" really is.
