My classroom is composed of 24 fifth grade students who are active and enjoy the outdoors. They work extremely hard to meet the goals set for them, and have made tremendous growth so far. I teach in a rural Title I school. We get our resources through state funding. While the funding is greatly appreciated, it is not always enough for the materials needed to provide the highest quality education possible for my students. My passion is to provide a high quality education for my students, but it doesn't stop there. Not only do I want them to succeed academically, but my hope is to help them to grow into responsible leaders for their community.
