Here at Hesperia High School we embarked on a path to explore the world of Engineering/Robotics. In 2012 we started this process with Vex Robotics. We use the motivational effects of robotics to excite students about computer science, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. ROBOTICS integrate math, science, engineering, and technology in ways that motivate and excite students. We have also moved into AutoCaD, Cam, CNC, Machine Technologies, and Mechanical Engineering. Our Robotics teams, out of 490 teams became the California Vex State Championships in 2016, and have one of our team placed 28 in the world out of 15,000 Vex teams. This is a strong testimony of the hard work put into the philosophy of teaching engineering to High School students and of course the hard work and dedication on the student's behalf. Update we have two team going to worlds on the 18th of April to compete against the top 500
