My classroom is a combination of general education as well as special education students. Many of my students are the first generation in the United States and conversing at home in English is often difficult for them. In addition my district is considered low poverty. Even with all of these challanges, our students are happy to greet you each morning. Our classroom is set up so that we are often working as teams. This brings excitement to the class and a great deal of learning from each other. We are all excited to be together everyday and look forward to each new adventure. The students in my 4th grade leave each year having grown in so many ways. Not only have the grown in inches, but they have grown in smarts!
