My students are a kind and creative group of "bucket fillers". We pride ourselves on taking risks and exploring curriculum while thinking outside of the box. I try my best to create a safe and engaging classroom while encouraging my students to become life-long learners. This year my students are learning and exploring through Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Integrated Units. Within our classroom, my students are learning how to be global thinkers and active participants within their community and the world in which they live. My students have made a huge shift in their thinking to embrace common core. They are little detectives who must provide evidence, make and support their opinions and judgments, and produce products to present in front of a public audience.
