My students are simply amazing! Our district is in an urban setting that is highly diverse, and in some situations, in poverty. I have students that love art making but don't always have the art opportunities that other students from the suburbs may have, to go to museums and take private art classes. My art room is always filled with kids during school and after school wanting to explore new art materials and create one of a kind, interesting pieces of art.
