The mission of (DELA) Academy is to empower our students with the knowledge, skills, and character traits that will enable them to succeed in the nation's finest secondary schools and colleges and to pursue a life of value, joy, and integrity. DELA was founded in 2009 and is the first elementary school in the KIPP Delta Public Schools network. DELA currently serves approximately 410 students in Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grades, 91% of which qualify for free or reduced lunch. Though many of my students are growing up facing rural poverty, they use their artistic abilities to brighten their community each and every day. Please help us make this project happen!
