I currently lowered all the classroom tables to allow my students to sit on the floor. Flexible seating provides an alternative to the "regular desk and chair". Runtz balls( yoga balls) and low sitting chairs will allow easy access to the tables in a comfortable way. My students are able to choose where to sit in the classroom based on how they feel they learn best. Flexible seating has transformed my classroom. Students feel comfortable and are engaged in a relaxing environment. I give directions throughout the day so allowing students to choose their seating makes a big difference to a child.
