My students need news magazines for current events in the World and the United States. This magazine will help in Civic and Government content area of Social Studies. Many of my students are from single parent households. My students have a need to learn about what is occurring in government and the world but it must in a format that they can understand. I teach Middle Level Social Studies and civics 7th and 8th grade in a very poor area, 98% of the students live below the poverty level.
