Most of my students are from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Our school has worked hard on creating a culture that encourages the students to strive for their best and enjoy their learning experience. Many of them will be the first members of their family to move onto post-secondary education. Even within the last four years here, I have seen a change in the way that students are viewing their education and setting goals for their lives. It has also become common for students to come back to this school and become teachers themselves. I do believe that the culture will continue to change to help mold these students to become learners who are excited for education.

About my class
