For this project, I have selected a group of diverse biographies. I was careful to select books of different reading levels so all students can be included in small groups to share these resources. These books will be used in small leveled group reading circles. Students will be reading, sharing, and discussing the books with a teacher to facilitate the student interactions. Students will come to an understanding that the contributions of these historical figures are still relevant and important. This is a small step in the student’s cultural education.
