I am fortunate to work at a school with support from colleagues, administrators and parents. This scaffolds and enriches the learning that occurs in the classroom. My students are very kind, inquisitive learners that range from students with disabilities to students with advanced learning abilities. I try to teach American history like a story, so that students at all levels will become engaged and enjoy learning. I get excited when former students come back and tell me how much they enjoyed my class and that they now love learning about history.
