Even though our school is over 50 years old, my 19 students get very excited when they get to use any of the technology resources we have in our classroom! The town's unemployment rate is around 12%, so most of the students come from homes with parents who are unemployed. Our school's poverty rate is 85%, and all students receive free breakfast and lunch. I have students at all ability levels, from very low to way above grade level. Even with the disadvantages and diversity, students at our school had the highest test scores in our district, which shows that our students want to be the best!
