My students are very active. Regardless of the subject being taught, they are enthusiastically engaged in their learning and thrive on hands-on activities. They loved building electric circuits in science, making Cherokee pottery in social studies and assembling polygons with straws in math. While math, science and social studies tend to be times of excitement and activity, many students do better with reading and writing in a quieter learning environment.
