The second grade children in my classroom come from diverse backgrounds and have diverse learning styles. Many students enjoy hands-on activities that include music and movement. Others learn better in a quiet, structured environment. I have both gifted and special ed. students placed in my classroom. Providing a variety of learning opportunities makes the day eventful. My campus is an A+, Title I school, with a strong sense of community.
