Throughout this school year, student's learning will be enhanced in the music classroom through the use of learning the piano as a foundational instrument. This will allow students to compose, learn songs, prepare them to play other instruments, and promote music literacy in my classroom. Students will learn and perform music from composers like Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach. By learning the piano, students will learn the fundamentals of music such as reading sheet music, understanding musical vocabulary, learn about music history, talk about performances, and learn the art of performing for others.

About my class
