I am fortunate to have my own art room equipped with a sink, a kiln room, computers and a smart board. My students come to art knowing they are going to learn not only art but geography, history, math, language arts, music, biology and anything else I an include in my lessons. My goal is to teach students that art is not only fun, but that it connects with parts of the lives and can make a lasting impression. I strive to create a comfortable and orderly environment in my classroom by implementing several "artists expectations" and reward systems. I love to catch my students being good and I show them I appreciate that behavior by constantly pointing it out.
