My soccer unit is a set of lessons that will progressively take my students from learning the basic skills through the actual game of soccer. My students will be learning how to dribble, pass, shoot into a goal, and goalkeeping. Soccer will teach my students teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, and decision-making. All the lead-up games my students will be participating in will focus on specific soccer skills that will build on their abilities. The culmination is to have my students take part in tournament play where they are part of a team. In order to implement this unit, each of my students will need vest pinnies and enough soccer balls for equitable participation. Your donations would be greatly appreciated because it would greatly improve and enhance our Physical Education program.
