My students represent a variety of backgrounds and cultures, but they've come together to create an environment where we learn as one. Throughout every part of the day, students can be found collaborating with their peers, developing solutions to problems, and thinking critically about their academics. They come to school every day with insightful observations, astounding connections, growth mindsets, and positive attitudes. Most importantly, they believe in themselves and each other. By the end of this school year, it is my goal to have my students move on to second grade reflecting on the knowledge they gained and how much they grew their brain.
