Our school is small and rural. It's the kind of community that everybody knows everybody, and anyone would help, from shingling your roof to helping a stranger fix a flat tire. Our community members work hard and instill within their children strong morals and genuine kindness. My students come in each morning eager to share their thinking and willing to learn more about the big world beyond our town lines. They are learning to be risk takers with learning and strong leaders of tomorrow. They love technology but don't mind snuggling up with a good book on a snowy afternoon.
