In our classroom we have 19 students who are amazing young learners in first grade. My co-teacher and I are so incredibly proud of them and our heart warms every morning when we greet them at the beginning of our school day. We have a diverse group of learners in our room, some of whom have specific learning needs. We teach in a differentiated manner so as to meet the needs of every learner. We teach using multi-sensory strategies in all subject areas. We approach every lesson with patience and intention. We use direct instruction to ensure that all students feel confident in what they are learning as they are being immersed in a lesson. We are so proud of our students and we look forward to the continued success they will make throughout the school year.
