My students grow up just miles away from the wealth and comfort of a "Northshore" Chicago lifestyle. Their reality, however, is much different from that of their neighbors. It is a beautifully diverse group of students that attend our school, but the challenges they must overcome for a bright future are huge. Our school is high-poverty and we daily work to overcome the disadvantages we face to help our students succeed. The students in my class know that I care about them. I daily tie our learning to what they will need in their future. We dream big. Thank you for helping us to reach our goals and encouraging us in our educational journey!
