If you were to walk through the doors of our school, you would immediately notice the sense of community. Students look forward to going to school daily and are smiling when they are there. Not only do we strive to teach them academics, but we also teach our students to be safe, respectful and responsible citizens. I teach 18 energetic, enthusiastic, and eager-to-learn Kindergartners. The students attend for a whole school day. Each day brings new learning and new adventures in the classroom. Through our new reading instruction model, students have developed a love for reading. They are engaged readers that are always wanting to get their hands on a new book! One of the best parts of being a teacher is watching a student proudly read a book from cover to cover.
