I am currently a first grade teacher and have the privilege of working with extraordinary children who have helped changed my views on what it means to embrace and become a true leader. This year we have stressed the importance of becoming a leader and how we can help others. Through our lessons and classroom discussions it is evident the children want to be able to take on new levels of responsibility and show off their leadership skills. Our school community is really just a large family that welcomes the sharing of ideas and opportunities to learn and grow. The positive interactions that students have with one another each day helps to increase their self confidence and awareness of their impact on others. All those who make up our school community are dedicated to helping students reach their goals, whether they are academic, social, or emotional. The students are our greatest priority, and their over all well being is the goal we strive to achieve each and every day.
