Students will be able to work collaboratively with partners around the room or find a comfortable individualized spot for better focus and attention in Newman's Crew. Buddy reading will be a breeze with flexible seating options in Newman's Crew! Additionally, these seating choices will allow the adult volunteers in my classroom an opportunity to work quietly with a student in different parts of my classroom. Students remain engaged in their learning when they can make choices! Allowing students to choose types of seating, where they are learning in the classroom, and how they are learning, has made a huge impact on student engagement in Newman's Crew.
