Our students are creative, critical thinkers who strive for social justice even though many of them have experienced immense inequalities. Over 60% of our students are learning English as their second language, and many of them are immigrants who must fight to succeed in a society that does not always welcome them. Over 80% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Despite these obstacles, our students have been incredibly successful in winning prestigious scholarships and attending renowned universities. They are truly an inspiration.
