During carpet time, my students have difficulty seeing the big books we read and anchor charts due to poor display options. A new easel will help increase visibility and also increase learning and engagement. The plan for this easel is to display big books and anchor charts during whole group reading and math instruction. This board is also magnetic (we do not currently have a magnetic board in our classroom), so magnetic letters, sight words, numbers, and ten frames will help to increase student learning and engagement during core skills instruction. Materials will be easily accessible for students to use during centers as well.
