Students learning English need visuals to help make connections when learning a new language (especially content academic vocabulary). One of the best tools for finding various visuals (pictures, educational videos and websites) is on the internet. While I do have a laptop in my classroom that I use with the students, my groups are large and it's often very difficult for all of the students to see the screen. We need a computer projector so that all students can clearly see the websites that we are viewing, stories we are reading during shared reading and models of exemplar writing. We are also requesting speakers that will be used with the projector, so that all students will be able to hear the videos we are watching. I am requesting a cart to hold the projector, the speakers and my computer so that they will be mobile. We will use the computer projector to view various websites, read online books, watch videos
