Our school is located in a small, rural community. My students come from low income mostly immigrant families. The school library is the only resource these children have to quality and diverse literature that can instill the love of reading that we all know is necessary to academic success. Our focus this year as always is to encourage reading practice and increase the reading levels of our students who are predominantly ESL.
