Our class is made up of 16 three-year-olds from diverse backgrounds in Washington, DC. While each student brings a unique perspective to the classroom, there are many commonalities--our students are energetic, curious, and playful (just the way we like it!). Our school serves a high-need population with many students coming from challenging situations, ones that only get more challenging as students grow up. We work hard to create a safe and supportive environment so that students want to come to school every day. Our belief is that there is no better starting place than with interactive, shared, and hands-on experiences.

About my class
