About my class

By having Chromebooks my students with varying ability levels will be able to access all kinds of learning they otherwise may not be able to. Chromebooks have multiple apps to assist different levels and needs. Some apps my students would benefit from are screen readers, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and screen magnifiers. Many of my students who suffer from anxiety will have the ability to access curriculum materials online and work at their own pace will greatly reduce their anxiety. By donating to my project you will be giving students the opportunity to have access to technology and curriculum in ways they usually would not have, which ultimately will increase their academic achievement. The Chromebooks I chose will be used during academic rotations giving the students a chance to use them multiple times throughout the day. They will be able to work independently using the apps I will load to assist them giving them the confidence to continue trying and learning. Our world is moving in the direction of technology for all, so what better way than to start students of all abilities young in learning how to access technology so they are able to contribute to the workforce in the future.
