Please support my students in their participation of the band program. They each have a great hunger for knowledge. The students are very kind and hard working. They carry with them a passion that helps them to achieve their goals and dreams. Although my students hold these great personalities and characteristics, they live in a small city and community where their parents are migrant farm, labor workers. For some students, they spend their summers helping their parents at the fields to support their families. These families make below the poverty line. Even though many of the students live tough lives and backgrounds like this, I am amazed at how much heart each of these students have. They understand an education is important so they can get out of that lifestyle and become who they want to be. Through my music classes, I help my students with life lessons that they can carry with them for years to come.
