We are a high poverty level school with a significant number of free and reduced lunches. Most students walk to and from school daily. As a first grade teacher, I try to create a print rich environment with familiar resources to tap into their previous knowledge. My first grade students deserve a well rounded education that will prepare them to be 21st Century learners.
