My students are innovative tech users already. Many of them have had access to their own devices since they were little, and our own computer teacher on campus has done wonders introducing them to innovative concepts such as coding, online collaboration, and Google Classroom. Asking these forward thinkers and developers to continue to use pencil and paper for everything in a setting (school) where they should be advancing their learning via latest innovations is counterintuitive. As a whole, our school is seeking to go towards a 1:1 setting, but is finding it difficult as funding is low.
