My students are just beginning to understand the world of text and text features. They are working with their own books, listening to my read alouds and writing about books. I work as a kindergarten teacher in a start up charter school in Los Angeles. We offer rigorous curriculum and expect high learning goals through constructivism and exploration strategies. However, since we are new we are still building our bank of resources and materials to create the best learning environment for our students.
