Hello! I am a literacy coach in Elk Grove, IL. We have many students that come from low income homes and/or have a first language other than English. Although some would say are children are at a "disadvantage", we are lucky enough to have dedicated teachers and parents. We do realize our students come to us with many barriers. However, we do not focus on the barriers, we focus on the possibilities! Our district and school makes every effort to give our students our best. It is my hope that you will help us in our mission to create life long learners and successful citizens- they are our future!
